The Database Integration Wizard


The Database Integration Wizard is included with Symposium Call Center Server Release 5.  The DIW is a great program that facilitates communications between your Symposium and your corporate databases.  The process is greatly simplified if the Database Integration Wizard is utilized.  Please contact GDS, if you want your Symposium to communicate with your ODBC compliant databases or you want to collect information about your incoming calls.  The best part about it is that you don't need any new hardware, the Database Integration Wizard runs on your Release 5.0 Symposium server.


Here is a list of some potential uses for the DIW:

bulletAccount status or information retrieval for callers
bulletCall routing for delinquent accounts based on account status, or CLID
bulletHigh call priority for a call based on account number, or monthly sales
bulletQueue call to a specific agent based on information in account notes, account number, etc.
bulletCapture CLID of abandoned calls


The potential uses for the Symposium Database Integration Wizard are primarily limited by your imagination.  Contact GDS Communications if you want to integrate the DIW into your Symposium Call Center.
